Live Great Expectations with the American Singles Events Reality

Not that I eschew drama, ’cause its hard to date at my age. Get this, last night I broke my resolution and smoked two packs of cigarettes. During my birthday party of datelessness, surprise! I pretend to be ashamed about it. What does this mean? Honestly, that’s when I first thought about meeting new singles in Denver or Dallas.

No problem. I’ll ease back into dating at professionally hosted Denver singles events. Definitely isn’t a bad idea. The reason I mention my dating woes: When I was a little tipsy at my 40th birthday at Oak Park this afternoon, Richard wouldn’t get off my back about if I have yet to win the woman I’m going to marry. They sure have nerve. I didn’t want to answer, but then laughed, “No.”

There’s nowhere to hide when Cousin Terry opining along the lines of my personal matters. I leveled to each of them: “Hey look, what do you know about dating?”

Guess what? Each one of them scoffed. Perturbed, I emailed my astrologist just to get some perspective. I still have no idea what to do! I would have learned more by asking my son. My cousin, who wrote to me from Egypt, offered his opinion that I mingle at singles events by Great Expectations. I said, “Fine, okay.” Should have thought of it myself. I love Great Expectations Denver.

Early on, matchmaking was a novel thing to me. I showed up already a little anxious, that I noticed I wore mismatched socks by accident. A mere emotional anxiety could not bring an end to us from enjoying ourselves. The evening was bursting with excitement. The gems of the occasion had to be the many enjoyable people I met, all available singles.

Appearing at these glorious Dallas singles nights with Great Expectations, I bumped into a collection of dynamite friends that must have similar ideas which made for a magnificent singles event. Don’t know why I ever let everyone get on my back about me being single at my age. Awesomely enough, matchmaking in Dallas with Great Expectations is a good time and like a dream come true.
